Yvette Guzman, APRN DNP

Yvette is a certified adult and gerontology nurse practitioner that graduated with her Bachelors degree in Nursing from the University of South Florida in 2010, Masters degree in Nursing from the University of Tampa in 2014, and received her Doctorate in Nursing at the University of Tampa in December 2022. She has worked in critical care, hospital medicine, cardiology, case management, utilization management, and population health. She has a passion for improving care of special needs and vulnerable populations and has transitioned to primary care to improve the prevention of chronic diseases and improve the quality of life of her patients.

She practices with the belief that every patient is her own family and goes the extra mile to coordinate care, decrease barriers and complexity for patients and families in navigating the healthcare system, and personalizing a wellness plan that gets you feeling your best.
In her free time she enjoys being outdoors, traveling, and volunteering with special needs organizations. She created this practice as she saw the need of the special needs community through her volunteer experience with the Special Olympics. Serving this community inspired her to create a better system for them and everyone to access care and create wellness that is often viewed as elusive or not available to all. She wants everyone to have the access to the highest quality of care so they can r
each their highest potential. The practice has grown and has tailored programs for every individual. Yvette is most passionate about continuing to grow the practice and develop new programs that meet the patients needs and giving back to the community.
